Irrigation

Spring start-up, mid-season system check and winterization of lawn irrigation systems. E&R also does service calls and installations of lawn irrigation systems.

Spring start-up: In the spring we will turn the water on, check each zone for leaks and check performance of all valves and sprinkler heads working and properly adjusted. In addition, set the controller to irrigate the lawn efficiently. We will need to have access to all aspects of the irrigation system (master valve, controller, electric etc) Customer may choose to sign off verbally or be present at time of service. Additional charges may apply if customer is not reachable at the time of service due to logistics and/or rescheduling. *Repairs at the time of turn on will be an extra charge for labor and parts and may need to be rescheduled.

Mid-Season System Check: Midway through the summer we will come and check your lawn irrigation system to assure it is operating correctly and adjust controller, if needed. Check for proper head coverage and faulty heads that may be dirty or are not working.

Winterization: We make sure that water is completely turned off and clear water from irrigation lines in all zones to prevent freeze damage to any pipes, heads and zones and deactivate irrigation controller. We will need to have access to all aspects of the irrigation system (master valve, controller, electric, etc) or customer will need to be present.

** At the discretion of E&R, minor repairs may be made to the System and are considered pre-approved as long as they total less than $150. Customer must approve any repair over $150 prior to commencement of work. Services include up to one hour for start-up, mid-season and winterization - any additional time will be billed in 15 minute increments. Labor is billed @$60 per man hour. Any parts will be billed separately according to cost. Some repairs may need to be rescheduled. Customers will receive one week notice via phone for their schedule appointment for services listed above. A $35 trip fee will be charged if we must return due to lack of access on scheduled day of service.
